So yes, on the plus side, I AM AT 50k. HOORAY. CELEBRATIONS AND CONFETTI ENSUE.

On the slightly-not-so-plus side, it's still complete and utter crap. But I suppose that's what editing is for.
_{Oh god this is going to require a HOLY-FREAKING-MASSIVE amount of that, though.}

And on the downright depressing end of the spectrum... I still don't think I'm halfway there.

Someone please explain to me what demonic insanity possessed me, making me believe that choosing the wolf story was a good idea. "It'll be simple!" I told myself. "It has little plot, so you can come up with it as you go!" "It's like a rewrite of your older novel, that will make it easier!"
YES, it is utterly plotless and pathetic. But somehow its plotless patheticness has dragged itself out to something painfully long, which I am never going to finish. Never. Ever.
If only it were NaNoWriYear, or something. ._.
But anyways, I suppose I can relax a bit now. I did it. I won. _{(and by the way I just lost The Game. Sorry.)} I have stood up to a monstrous word goal, and I have conquered it and rubbed my victory in its soul-draining face.
I'm still going to try to finish my novel, though, even if it is ridiculously unlikely that I'll get it done in the last week.
